Rev. Kevin A. Konkle, MS & LMHC

Born in northern Indiana in October 1968, Rev. Kevin Konkle spent his formative years in Warsaw, Indiana, graduating from Warsaw Community High School in 1987. He later married Jennifer, a close friend from church camp, with whom he shares a child, Kedrick. In 2005, Rev. Konkle publicly identified as a Gay Christian; following an amicable divorce, he raised his son as a single father. In 2013, he met Miguel, whom he married in 2019. Rev. Konkle was elected Senior Pastor at Metropolitan Community Church of the Palm Beaches (MCCPB) in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida in November of 2025.  He had previously served as GAP Pastor from September 2024 through November of 2025.  He also serves as Founding Pastor of a mission work in Mexico- MCC Merida, Mexico.

Higher education was pursued by Rev. Kevin Konkle by taking liberal arts courses at Indiana University and theological studies at Liberty University. He earned an associate’s degree in social sciences from Ohio University, a bachelor’s degree in psychology from West Virginia State University, and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Hodges University. He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor by the state of Florida.  His theological training includes successful completion of ministerial courses of study with the United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI) and the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches (UFMCC).

Compelled toward ministry from an early age, Rev. Konkle obtained his Local Minister’s License in 1989, General Minister’s License in 1992, UPCI Ordination in 1994, and UFMCC ordination in October 2025. His commitment and abilities have been recognized by Reconciling Pentecostals International (RPI) and Affirming Pentecostal Church International (APCI). Over the years, he has served in numerous leadership positions such as Youth Pastor, Administrative Pastor, Assistant Pastor, Senior Pastor, and Assistant General Superintendent across organizations like UPCI, RPI, APCI, and UFMCC. Rev. Kevin Konkle is committed to church growth and has devoted his life to preaching a message of unconditional love and inclusivity.
